\"BChicago (August 22, 2023)<\/strong> \u2013\u2013 AllCampus<\/a>, a leading higher education services provider partnering with top-ranked institutions to make higher education more affordable, accessible and equitable, today announced its certification as a B Corporation™ (B Corp™). The certification reinforces AllCampus\u2019 mission of driving down the cost of and increasing access to education for all students. <\/p>\n

\u201cBecoming a B Corp-certified company has been a long-term goal that only 10% of businesses achieve, and I\u2019m immensely proud of our entire organization for working together to finally get there.\u201d said Joe Diamond, CEO of AllCampus. \u201cThis is true validation of our work with students and universities to make our mission and vision a reality. I\u2019m looking forward to seeing the value that our organization will continue to provide to our university and employer partners, and most importantly, the students, as a certified B Corporation.\u201d <\/p>\n

B Corp Certification, also known as Benefit Corporation Certification, is a designation administered by the nonprofit B Lab and awarded to companies that meet certain standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. This certification enables companies to operate with a heightened focus on creating a positive impact on society and the environment. <\/p>\n

The B Corp certification looks at a company\u2019s practices across five categories \u2013\u2013 governance, workers, community, environment, and customers \u2013\u2013 and conducts a rigorous assessment process that evaluates a company\u2019s overall impact on various stakeholders, including employees, communities, customers, and the environment. In order to receive B Corp certification, companies must score a minimum of 80 points on the assessment. While the average score is 51, AllCampus received an overall score of 89. <\/p>\n

This designations come on the heels of AllCampus announcing its new status<\/a> as a public benefit limited liability company (PB LLC) in January, underscoring the company\u2019s commitment to generating social and public good by operating responsibly and sustainably \u2013\u2013 and furthering its mission of making education more accessible, affordable and equitable. <\/p>\n
